Travertine stone is a natural stone which is a beautiful addition to any home. A properly installed and maintained travertine floor will never need replacing and will last for generations. It is available in a variety of colours, the most commonly used being cream. Travertine flooring is naturally porous with many holes on the surface, travertine tiles are usually classified according to the amount of surface holes, with ratings of 1 to 9. The more holes in the travertine tile the lower the rating will be so it will have a cheaper cost per square meter.
Dubling Travertine Floor Cleaning
Our company provides top of the range travertine floor cleaning and travertine floor sealing services. We clean and seal any type of travertine floor. Dublin Travertine Floor Cleaning uses two techniques to clean this type of floor. First, and the cheapest option, is deep cleaning and sealing. We will remove all dirt from the travertine tiles and the grout and we will then apply a sealant. This sealant will prevent staining from spillages and will give the floor a wet look. It will last up to 24 months depending on usage and traffic. The second type of cleaning we can do is diamond polishing. We will deep clean the floor, then we will sanitise the grout, we will then high speed buff your floors using special diamond pads. This type of polishing brings out the inner beauty of the stone without the use of any chemicals. This type of travertine floor cleaning is the one recommended by us and by all the travertine tile suppliers but it is more costly than the chemical treatment as it is more labour intensive and it requires regular buffing to maintain the mirror like look.
